About Me

My photo
Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico
I am owned by Pauline and Mark Blasky. My hull was built at the Duncan Marine Yard in Taiwan and launched in Dec of 1980. It is a William Garden design based on the Pixie Design and called by Duncan Marine a Freedom 45. They are the fourth owners and have owned me the longest. They have done extensive refitting to me including replacing my entire deck structure and rig. My masts are roughly 10% taller than original and now are made of aluminium as opposed to the original wood ones, which, though pretty, were always problematic. Chingay Parade

We got four front seat VVIP tickets to the Chingay Parade this year.  We sat almost right next to the deputy prime minister.  The tickets were from brother Patrick and he couldn't make it so we accompanied his wife and son and got the chance to feel patriotic for the night.  It was really kind of fun.

We Didn't Know This  Was Going to Happen

He Did a Complete Somersault without missing a beat

Like the Slogan

Speed Painting right in Front of US

Fire Dancers

Now We know Where that Recurring Nightmare with the Boat
Driving Down a Crowded Street Comes From

Now These Guys Had a Firecracker up their Butts

The Final Float had a Ladder Pulled out of it.  A guy later climbed it
and fired off a sparking type fire cannon but we didn't get the picture.

Pretty not Bad fireworks
